A real choice.

Thomas is not running against the Republican Party.  He is not running against the Democratic Party.  He is running against the two-party system itself.

A vote for the lesser of two evils is a vote for a system that produces only greater and lesser evils.  So long as Iowans keep voting for Republicans and Democrats on Election Day, we will never have meaningful change.

Vote for People over Party. Vote for Thomas Laehn.

The Issues

Our political landscape has been dominated by the two-party system for too long, stripping power from the people and centralizing it in the hands of a few. As a U.S. Senator, my mission is to dismantle this status quo and restore the political power to the citizens of Iowa and the nation.

A Stand Against the Two-Party System

Both parties have worked tirelessly to take power away from the people and to concentrate it in their own hands. I am not running against a Democrat or a Republican; I am running against the two-party system itself.

As a U.S. Senator, I will work tirelessly to restore to the people of Iowa the political power that the parties have taken from them and to keep the national government out of the policymaking sphere our Constitution reserves for the states.
